glass please

14May12

We have had quite a few calls lately inquiring about the glass rail system we use on some of our projects. When we design a new house or a substantial renovation, incorporating glass is a great way to give the space a modern look. If you are looking to retrofit your existing rail system, this can be a fairly straightforward DIY project. By removing the spindles and keeping just the posts, you can have your local glass contractor template the opening for new glass panels. If your posts have ornamentation and you want a cleaner look, try wrapping them with MDF and painting! Now you’re on your way to a clean, contemporary interior.
