The God Father

11Nov09

Ludwieg Mies van der Rohe  is considered my many (including my self) to be the father of modern architecture. He coined the phrase “less is more” with has stood the test of time and used daily by every walk of life. His work in Europe went largely unbuild. Once he made his way to the U.S. just prior to WW2 , Mies was building his projects non stop in the Chicago area. Canadians can also be proud of the Toronto Dominion Center, Designed my Mies before his death in 1969
